Start at the unmarked Baban alley R, opposite the third pillar in the railing.

Go L at a T-junction at the next major irrigation ditch (761 masl) at Point A.

Contour in a flat spot in paddy and enjoy broad views R. Go L again to cross the ditch on a bam­boo bridge and climb in dry fields on a faint path.  After 175m, veer R at a T-junction with a good path . . .

{Replace with] walk up the ridgeline to the end of the dirt road then continue on a footpath.

Follow the road upward for 65m to a fork at the German Cemetery

...proceed 80m past the toilets on the flat; at a fork, take the L path, which contours down…

…go L onto a path at the valley edge and follow the path down at the boundary of pines L and tall grass R.

Dogleg R to enter a citrus grove with a nice shed R, a good rest spot.

Veer R on a faint path and proceed diagonally toward the center of the ridgeline, to pick up a path towards the pine grove below.

Follow a zigzag path down to the paddy. The path becomes clearer as you descend.

Follow a zigzag path which contours down mainly to the R until reaching the edge of a small ravine, then follow the edge down to the paddy.

Pass the six cement pilings for a former shack R.

[Gone] Cross a path at the edge of the valley and begin the descent.

Follow the road, contouring along the valley rim.

Follow the track of the former road, in places skirt­ing crops planted on the ex-road; eventually, the track goes R.

Proceed for 240m on the former dirt road, now used by motorcycles, passing a crossroads with a path, then a fork where you take the L branch and another where you take the R branch to stay on the flat motorcycle path.  (Avoid the R branch ….).

Proceed for about 160m on the former dirt road, now used by motorcycles, passing a crossroads with a path, then a fork where you avoid the R branch to stay on the flat motorcycle path. Next, veer L at a fork to begin a gradual descent into the valley. Cross a path and continue to contour down.

Wood now too rotten. Cross on rocks or at a dam upstream.
